Bei Nebukadnezar entsteht diese Beziehung zu Gott erst. Muss ein Mensch Mitglied des Volkes Gottes sein, um erl?st werden zu k?nnen? Ist Erl?sung von Israel nun m?glich? Bei keiner dieser Personen wird in der Bibel explizit gesagt, dass sie erl?st ist. Aus den Beschreibungen kann man jedoch schlussfolgern, dass einige von ihnen erl?st sind. Die Frage muss also mit 'Ja' beantwortet werden, wenn man an eine Mitgliedschaft im unsichtbaren Volk denkt. Aber ... diese Erl?sung geschieht immer durch eine Beziehung zum wahren Gott. Diese Personen (zumindest Melchisedek, Jitro und Hiob) brachten Brandopfer und Schlachtopfer f?r den wahren Gott. Daraus wird ersichtlich, dass sie das Prinzip der Stellvertretung erkannt haben. Grunds?tzlich sollte ein erl?ster Mensch den Wunsch versp?ren, sich dem Volk Gottes zuzugesellen. Allerdings scheint die Erl?sung nicht so sehr von der ?u?erlichen Zugeh?rigkeit zum Volk Gottes abzuh?ngen, sondern vielmehr von der innerlichen Beziehung zu Gott und dem daraus folgenden praktischen Leben nach dem Willen Gottes. Es geht hier also nie um das Erl?stsein eines Menschen, der entweder nur eine rudiment?re Kenntnis von Gott besitzt oder einem v?llig anderen Gott dient. Urspr?nge, die z.T. historisch sehr weit zur?ckliegen. So ist, wenn es um Besitzrechte und Rechtfertigungen f?r gewaltsamen Siedlungsbau geht, ein Argument strenggl?ubiger radikaler j?discher Siedler die sog. 'Landnahme' der Israeliten, wie sie in Jos. 1-12 beschrieben wird. Diese Landnahme f?llt historisch in die Zeit des ?bergangs von der Sp?ten Bronzezeit (1550-1200 v.Chr.) in die Eisen-I-Zeit (1200-1000 v.Chr.), also in etwa in das 13.-11. vorchristliche Jahrhundert. In ?gypten ist dies die Zeit der 19. und 20. Dynastie. Nach diesem sehr ausf?hrlichen Bericht (man bedenke nur wie weit diese Epoche zur?ckliegt), ziehen die zw?lf St?mme Israels ?ber den Jordan nach Westen, von Osten her kommend, um das verhei?ene Land in Ihren Besitz zu nehmen. Kurze Zeit vorher war Mose, der Anf?hrer der Schar, gestorben, nachdem ihm von Gott das gelobte Land gezeigt worden war. Nachfolger und somit neuer Anf?hrer der Israeliten wurde Josua, Moses' Diener.
