Diese Arbeit soll sich mit dem Verhalten der Kirchengeschichte nach der Shoah auseinandersetzten. Zun?chst wird die Entwicklung der Perspektive zum Judentum betrachtet. In meinem Fall Zeugnis einer gro?en Mordaktion?' - diese Frage ist zentral f?r ihr autobiographisches Schreiben - eine Frage an mich als Rezipientin ab: Wie gehe ich, deren Wahrnehmungsverm?gen ebenfalls durch die eigene Subjektivit?t beschr?nkt ist, mit den Zeugnissen der ?berlebenden und dar?ber hinaus mit der Shoah um? Die Arbeit ist in drei Teile gegliedert: Nach einem kurzen ?berblick ?ber den Forschungsstand zu Kl?gers Autobiographie stelle ich die Namen in den Mittelpunkt, mit denen die Nachwelt den Massenmord der Nationalsozialisten an der j?dischen Bev?lkerung Europas w?hrend des Zweiten Weltkriegs bezeichnet und begreift. Da die Benennung des Ereignisses immer schon Teil eines Interpretationsvorgangs ist, betrachte ich die Begriffe 'Holocaust', 'Shoah' und 'Churban' begriffsgeschichtlich und problematisiere sie hinsichtlich ihrer inh?renten, teilweise verdeckten Bedeutungen und Deutungen des Geschehens. Im zweiten Teil frage ich nach den Ursachen, die die Darstellung der Shoah f?r die ?berlebenden prek?r werden lassen. Ich zeige den Zusammenhang auf, der zwischen dem Kern des historischen Ereignisses, der Intention, dieses zu bezeugen und dem Dilemma besteht, die Ereignisse sprachlich zu erfassen und zu vermitteln. Ich vertrete die These, dass das Schreiben der ?berlebenden nicht einseitig als problematisches Darstellen eines schwer zu erfassenden Ereignisses verstanden werden kann, sondern mit Blick auf die Verankerung der Texte als Zeugnisse in einer Rezeptionsdimension immer auch als Mitteilungsproblem betrachtet werden muss.
