A Vis?o M?stica Da Cabala Sobre A Torah【電子書籍】[ Eliel Roshveder ]

Yosef's behaviors, interpersonal relationships, and personal development are often difficult to understand and seem to defy explanation. This book presents a coherent and cohesive reading of the well known Bible story that offers a plausible account of Yosef's behaviors, specifically those of an individual on the autism spectrum. Viewed through this lens, Yosef emerges as a more familiar and less enigmatic individual, exhibiting both strengths and weaknesses commonly associated with autism spectrum disorder.

Above Torah: What the New Testament Truly Reveals about "the Law"【電子書籍】[ Hannah P. Yacob ]

Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned reader and believer of Scripture, this book will inform, and greatly surprise you. Are you a believer in the Messiah but do not keep the Torah (Law) of Moshe (Moses)? Are you a believer in the Messiah but still keep the Torah of Moshe? Perhaps you simply do not understand the New Covenant (Testament) Scriptures and just don't know what to think. Regardless of your stance, this book gets to the root of the age old debated question, "Are we under the Law or not?" Our Beloved Creator has hidden His Truth in plain sight within the pages of His Scriptures. What you think you know about the Besorah (Good News aka Gospel) will be greatly challenged and what you don't know will be pleasantly enriched. We are living in an age of the earth with prophecy unfolding like never before. It is critical that all true believers come to fully understand what it means to worship our Creator in Spirit and in Truth. That can only be done when we know what our Creator demands of us and what His will (not ours) is. This book is an amazing tool that highlights Scripture like you've never before read nor comprehended. It's past time we toss away the lies of religion based on the traditions of men and come to really know our Creator and His one and only Advocate He has so lovingly gifted us. If you are a sincere seeker of the Creator's Truth, this book, via Scripture Truths brought forth and the Power of the Creator's Spirit, will remove the scales from your eyes and send you on a spiritual journey unlike anything you can imagine. Our Creator's Truth is the only truth and He is waiting to reveal it to you. Also included is a must read power packed, inspiring bonus chapter that highlights why people should freely choose to serve the one true Creator.

Torah Geometry and Gematria 160 Patterns Created or Modified by Eric Eliason【電子書籍】[ Eric Eliason ]

The first verse of the Bible is probably the most read document in history and there are amazing things that can be done with it in Hebrew, geometrically and numerically (Gematria). I actually came up with 159 patterns, from the first verse to the whole Torah, but mostly about the first verse or first word. 10 might be coincidence, but 159 is hard to come by. They are in 52 categories. Joseph Smith said the Torah originally began with its second letter R. Half of the patterns work with the first letter B only. Virtually all the other half work with either B or R to start. I think this book presents a case for believing in Joseph Smith. It also indicates that I'm doing something right with all these patterns. I have started a Hebrew Bible grammar class, but this is beforehand. Some of the patterns seem like Jews may have created them, but some just seem impossible. You will have to decide. I want to convince you and that is my goal. But I don't even know. Someone might have had an insight that branches out into numberless patterns to create the Torah. I got a Master's degree from BYU and studied a lot of Hebrew but am not too familiar with the actual language. BYU had the biggest library for a University in America. I got the tools I needed to do these things from there and web sites like Stan Tenen's. In the last century I saw a geometry/Gematria pattern and thought it must be God or later Aliens. I had no idea that one day I would create 159 of my own! Since there are so many, I feel I must be doing something right. For those seeking a fun way to believe very strongly in a higher power, which can help many people, this book is for you. I have my own style, but this book is quite undeniable. Think of all the good it can do to just believe in a higher power. You will have reasons for it too. You can still choose right and wrong. These are not signs. The surface text is incredible too. People make inferences. These are just advanced ones. You are not putting the word of God to the test. In fact you are living by the word of God. Studying Genesis in ancient times was considered a burnt offering. This type of burnt offering is still acceptable I think. Jews believe that a deep understanding of life like this is necessary for the afterlife, but I am not a Jew. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In fact, the idea is if you see a pattern, it suggests something about God. Because of its unlikeliness that gives you motivation to believe. Then you can learn about God. You are welcome to interpret them differently than me. I would encourage to look at it holistically. I would like to share them with you and maybe you can help me share them with others! I think they are fun and a great way to believe in a higher power! I believe I have been gifted to do these patterns. A handful don't work perfectly which I state; a few may seem goofy; but I can promise more than enough good, dare I say awesome, solid ones that are truly amazing (I would say at least 150 even though some are simple)! We have a relationship between the pronunciation and spelling of the first two letters, square roots in a pattern, continually subtracting letters from each other to get to one number, 1/a+1/b+1/c..., a/b+b/c+c/d..., a turning pattern where the letter numbers tell how far to go before each turn, two dodecahedrons, a maze, a dreidel, and brownian motions in different dimensions that point to each other to reveal their order of complexity. Also, what I believe is a world record for pi to the 13th digit. It would be very difficult to predict these scientifically before testing them. I think there's a pattern of being "kosher" for what you can find and what you can't. I think obeying the ten commandments unfolds the Torah for you. Even though I have mentioned only the ones that work, it is still amazing. Many that I wanted to work did. Sometimes an error spurred me on to think deeper about a pattern. I hope you like it.

ParshaNut: 54 Journeys into the World of Torah Commentary【電子書籍】[ David Kasher ]

In the spirit of Nechama Leibowitz’s classic, 'New Studies in the Weekly Parsha,' Rabbi David Kasher offers 54 essays exploring the vast but understudied genre of Jewish literature known as parshanut, or Torah commentary. From the masters of midrash who began the tradition, to the medieval commentators who defined the style, on down to the scholars of the modern age, Kasher leads an impassioned and engaging tour through the history of Jewish Biblical interpretation.

“With engaging clarity and vivacity, Kasher presents a wide range of traditional commentaries on the biblical text. In each chapter, he poses a central question which then becomes a field for vigorous discussion, pursued in a contemporary conversational tone. Kasher arrives at sometimes provocative resolutions and the reader is drawn into the work of parshanut, of biblical interpretation, which is clearly a passion for him, and irresistibly becomes a passion for the reader too.”
? Dr. Avivah Gottleib Zornberg, Author of 'Genesis: The Beginning of Desire'

“Rabbi David Kasher has written a magnificent commentary on the Torah. With echoes of Nechama Leibowitz, the work beautifully synthesizes traditional commentaries with creative insights. Intellectually deep and yet accessible to all. A masterful book.”
? Rabbi Avi Weiss, Founder of the Hebrew Institute of Riverdale, Yeshivat Chovevei Torah & Yeshivat Maharat

“To read this book is to get a front row seat in the classroom of a master teacher. Rabbi Kasher’s voice is as accessible as his insights are profound. From the most learned reader to the true beginner, Rabbi Kasher leaves us enriched and wiser, granting us access to our own sacred inheritance.”
? Rabbi Sharon Brous, Founder and Senior Rabbi, IKAR

“If a student approached me and said: “I will read one book, but only one book, on the Torah. If I fall in love, I’ll stay. If it falls flat for me, I’m out” ? this is the book I would tell them to read.”
? ReVisions Seeing Torah through a Feminist Lens【電子書籍】[ Rabbi Elyse Goldstein ]

What does it mean to re-vision Torah? "I use the title ReVisions for this book because I want readers both to reviseーin the classic definition of reexamine and alterーand to see the text anew, to have a new vision, a 'revision,' of Torah.... It begins with the notion that women see the text differently than men do, ask different questions and bring different answers.... This book is not about rewriting the Torah. It is about rereading it." ーfrom the Introduction Rabbi Elyse Goldsteinーwoman, rabbi, scholar, and feministーchallenges and defends, rereads and reinterprets the ancient text, revealing to modern readers a way to see Judaism anew, for a new visionーa "revision"ーof the Torah. Goldstein boldly brings the Torah into a contemporary context at the same time she honestly reconciles its past.
