Bei der Lekt?re des Werks ist die au?ergew?hnliche Darstellung von Zeit sowohl beim Aufbau der fiktiven Welt als auch innerhalb dieser Fiktion offensichtlich. Auf vielf?ltige Weise setzt Ransmayr bei der Gestaltung des Romans Zeit im realen und herk?mmlichen Sinn au?er Kraft, um sie als Mittel des Ausdrucks st?rker in die Aussage des Romans einzubeziehen. Auf welche Weise dies geschieht, soll in der folgenden Analyse untersucht werden. Dazu wird es n?tig sein, die Zeitebenen, innerhalb derer die Fiktion aufgebaut ist, anhand genauer Textanalyse herauszuarbeiten und deren Verschiebung aufzuzeigen, um diese Untersuchung anschlie?end auf die Erscheinung von Zeit und deren Asynchronit?t auch auf Bewu?tseinsebene der Figuren sowie bez?glich der intertextuellen Vorlage zum Roman, den 'Metamorphosen' Ovids zu erweitern. Die Untersuchung ist so aufgebaut, da? die verschiedenen Handlungsschaupl?tze Tomi und Rom getrennt voneinander betrachtet werden, um so die ihnen jeweils spezifischen Merkmale und die bestehenden Unterschiede deutlicher sichtbar zu machen. Weiterhin ist die vorliegende Arbeit nah am Prim?rtext selbst orientiert, da die Verschiebung der Zeitebenen zwar in den meisten der Rezensionen und wissenschaftlichen Arbeiten zum Werk erkannt und interpretiert, selten jedoch im einzelnen vom Text her entwickelt und dargelegt wird. Zumeist befassen sich diese Darstellungen auch nicht explizit mit dem hier behandelten Einzelaspekt des Romans, sondern stellen diesen in Zusammenhang mit anderen Gesichtspunkten zu einer breiter angelegten Deutung dar. Schlie?lich wird in einem letzten Abschnitt auf den Begriff der Postmoderne einzugehen sein, mit dem 'Die letzte Welt' - auch und besonders durch die ihr immanente Zeitenkompilation - in der Forschungsliteratur h?ufig in Zusammenhang gebracht wird. Kleine Prosa der Fr?hen Neuzeit, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In der vorliegenden Arbeit soll die Sprichw?rtersammlung Johannes Agricolas in Hinsicht auf den Aspekt der Kurzweil untersucht werden. Im Vorfeld der Untersuchung wird zun?chst der Begriff des Sprichworts gekl?rt und auf seine spezifischen Merkmale hin definiert werden. Zwischen 1529 und 1548 gibt Johannes Agricola insgesamt vier B?nde gesammelter Sprichw?rter heraus, wobei die Ausgabe von 1534 eine verbesserte Neuauflage der ersten beiden ist. Im Humanismus entstehen, angeregt durch Erasmus von Rotterdam und seine Adagia, mehrere Sprichwortsammlungen, die erl?uternde Auslegungen beinhalten. Auf diesen Kommentaren, die auch Agricola seiner Anthologie hinzuf?gt, wird der Schwerpunkt der Analyse liegen. Die Betrachtungsweise impliziert zum einen den Blick auf die tats?chliche K?rze der Texte im Sinne ≫Kleiner Prosa≪. Bei lediglich der Feststellung, da? Agricola sich bei der Kommentierung der zusammengestellten Proverbien kurz fa?t, soll es nat?rlich nicht bleiben. Stattdessen wird in diesem Kontext auf seine theoretischen ?berlegungen zur K?rze der Sprichw?rter und den sich seiner Ansicht nach daraus ergebenden Nutzen einzugehen sein. Hierzu wird die von Agricola der Sammlung vorangestellte und mit dem Titel ≫Warzu die sprichwortter dienen≪ versehene Abhandlung herangezogen werden. Zum anderen soll anhand ihrer Funktionsweise dargestellt werden, welchen Gedanken oder welche Wahrheit die Texte m?glicherweise transportieren, ob der Begriff der Kurzweil auch im Sinne eines Bedeutungsverzichts auf die Sprichw?rtersammlung anwendbar ist.
