Der Clean Development Mechanism beschreibt hingegen die umweltvertr?gliche Entwicklung, also die gemeinsame Durchf?hrung von Klimaschutzprojekten von Industrie- und Entwicklungsl?ndern in einem Entwicklungsland. 4 Beide Partner m?ssen von diesem Projekt profitieren. Das Projektland zieht Nutzen aus dem finanziellen Engagement und das Investierende Land profitiert durch die Anrechnung der erreichten Emissionsreduktionen bei den eigenen Verpflichtungen mittels einer Gutschrift.5 JI-Projekte m?ssen angemeldet werden. CDM-Projekte finden auf freiwilliger Basis statt. Beide sind seit 2000 m?glich. 6 Neben den nun bereits kurz umrissen Instrumenten CDM und JI spielt auch der Emissionshandel eine wichtige Rolle im Kyoto-Protokoll. Abschnitt 2 erkl?rt kurz, worum es hierbei geht, wer betroffen ist und was noch zu beachten ist.
