Berufsakademie Th?rigen in Gera), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Ziel der vorliegenden Studienarbeit ist es, einen Einblick in die Theorie Jean Piagets in bezug auf die geistliche Entwicklung von Kindern zu geben. Die geistige Entwicklung von Zeit der Geburt des Kindes, bis hin zum Jugendalter besitzt verschiedene Facetten und ist auch aus verschiedenen Perspektiven zu betrachten. In meiner Arbeit werde ich die Entwicklung aus Entwicklungspsychologischer Sicht beleuchten. Die Entwicklung von Kindern konnte ich in meiner einj?hrigen T?tigkeit im Rahmen des freiwilligen sozialen Jahres und durch ehrenamtliches arbeiten in verschiedenen Jugendclubs beo-bachten. Schon damals war ich fasziniert von den Entwicklungsst?nden und Entwick-lungsspr?ngen die die Kinder und Jugendliche in dieser Zeit machten. Aus diesem Grund m?chte ich mich mit dem Thema der kognitiven Entwicklung n?her besch?ftigen. Der Schweizer Psychologe Jean Piaget (1896 - 1980) liefert bis heute die umfassendste Theorie zur Entwicklung des kindlichen Denkens. Er hat die Entwicklungspsychologie auf dem Gebiet der kognitiven Entwicklung stark gepr?gt. In vielen Untersuchungen wurden seine theoretischen und empirischen Erkenntnisse ?berpr?ft, erg?nzt und korrigiert. In nahezu jedem Lehrbuch der Entwicklungspsychologie werden seine Positionen ausf?hrlich dargestellt. Jedoch stellt sich mir die Frage, inwieweit seine Theorie heute noch G?ltigkeit hat, bzw. inwieweit sie heute noch anwendbar ist. Und desweiteren wie kann Piagets Theorie der geistigen Entwicklung f?r die Erziehungspraxis genutzt werden? Zu Beginn meiner Arbeit werde ich eine kurze Definition der kognitiven Entwicklung geben und anschlie?end die Grundbegriffe, des varianten und invarianten Entwicklungskontinuums, Piagets zur kognitiven Entwicklung auf, um ein besseres Verst?ndnis f?r seine Theorie beschreiben. Zu den wesentlichsten und meist bekanntesten Bestimmungsst?cken seine Theorie geh?rt die Auffassung von der gesetzm??igen Abfolge strukturell jeweils vier verschiedener Entwicklungsstufen. Diese vier Stufen werde ich ausf?hrlich beschreiben und sie bilden somit den Hauptteil meiner Arbeit.
