Questa, costituita ancora solo come atto fondativo di tipo legislativo, pone la necessit? di tornare sui luoghi interessati, ripercorrendoli attraverso un punto di vista mobile, e di sviluppare un’azione di simultaneo avvicinamento e allontanamento capace di cogliere ed elencare valori e immagini di una realt? complessa ed eterogenea nelle sue articolazioni territoriali. Lo studio ha l’obiettivo di rifuggire da un’idea puramente statistica e quantitativa del territorio, per concentrarsi sulla ricerca dei valori dei luoghi per la costruzione di un nuovo scenario urbano. La ricerca parte da tali assunti, rintracciando contenuti, strategie e proposte progettuali attraverso due operazioni specifiche: una d’individuazione di una proposta-progetto di Corridoio Verde, infrastruttura fisica e morfologica capace di unificare e identificare, in una sorta di archeologia naturale, i territori variegati della Citt? Metropolitana; l’altra relativa a sei situazioni paesaggistiche sulle quali operare per una visione di citt?. Tali azioni, approfondite dal gruppo di ricerca attraverso elaborazioni originali, si sono confrontate in una logica d’interdisciplinariet?, affermata come punto di osservazione pi? adeguato per la conoscenza e il progetto. Diverse figure ? architetti, paesaggisti, agronomi, fotografi, artisti e studiosi ? sono state coinvolte per un racconto di quell’entit? che tende a strutturarsi come citt?, nell’accezione pi? ampia che oggi questa assume, sempre pi? legata ad un’idea estensiva, dilatata ed eterogenea. The study project Landscape in_Progress focuses on the contemporary city pursuant to the establishment of the administrative district Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria. So far the district only has legal status, therefore it is important to review the area in question from a more mobile viewpoint in order to elaborate both an overall and detailed approach capable of identifying and itemising the values and images of a complex, heterogeneous territory. Rather than merely providing statistics and quantitative data about the territory, the study illustrates the search for local values with a view to creating a new urban scenario. Based on the above premises, the study gathered data regarding contents, strategies and design proposals to achieve two specific goals: to develop a proposal/project involving the creation of a Green Corridor, a physical and morphological infrastructure capable of uniting and identifying (in a sort of natural archaeology) the very diverse territories of the Metropolitan City; to use six landscapes as a basis to elaborate an urban vision. The study group adopted a very original, in-depth and interdisciplinary approach, considered as the best possible way in which to gather data relating to the project. <p>The post of Marshal of France during the age of Napoleon was a much sought after honour, carrying with it riches, titles and land grants enough to satisfy the dreams of every French soldier. It did, however, carry with it the possibility of hardship, wounds and possible death in the firing line of the many battlefields across Europe. Few men who attained the dignity can said to have seen as much fighting as Marshal Oudinot, or to have faced death with such sang-froid as he. Once asked by Napoleon if he feared death, he replied, "Sire, I haven't had the time." He was constantly at the forefront of the fighting and became the most wounded of the Marshalate, having no fewer than 30 wounds to show in the service of France.<br /> His memoirs were collected and gathered together by his second wife soon after his death and are filled with the gripping and often brutally bloody action of the Napoleonic battlefield.
