Seed for thoughts, Similar or opposite we all have the right to oppose or accept the thoughts of others. We may not agree, or we may agree. When we force our opinions on others either by rank, our station in life or by power, by will of that rank, or wealth. When we use misinformation, mislead by ignorance shame on us. When we mislead by our intelligence or education, shame on us. When we mislead by deliberate act are we bullies or dictators? When we use threats, even violence to convince others your opinion, statement, or ideology is the right one for all to follow, are we bullies or dictators? A bully is often just as confused, misinformed, a victim of their environment. Whereas a dictator is not always confused or misinformed or a victim of their environment. They know what they want and will do whatever it takes to rule with an iron fist or with words that misguide their followers to believe they are not bullies or dictators. Who decides who is right or wrong, the many or the one. When the many speak in unison in favor of an idea, theology, philosophy, opinion, candidate, or law. Thy have the right to do so as long as it isn't inciting violence, hate, or breaking the laws of the land. The one has the same equal right as long as the one isn't inciting violence, hate, or breaking a law. 2019-2023 in Review is a collection of Blogs, 79 in total, posted on Medium.com under my birth name Robert Vergeson. Mars Darkside【電子書籍】[ Rowlen Delaware Vanderstone III ]

楽天Kobo電子書籍ストア

There is a dark side to man's expansion in the solar system. It was the first domed colony on the Moon where earth corporations and its investors first set up a domed colony that wasn't government funded. Then it was on Mar's where those corporations invested in Mar's lucrative resources of mining ores below its surfaces and terra forming Mar's atmosphere to sustain life under the Domes and eventually outside the domes. Since the first manned mission to Mar's in the mid-21st century and the first Dome colony in the late 21st century, and Earths mining corporations setting up their own Domes and colonies that followed under their strict corporate rule did the darkside of man's greed, Vice and corruption expand into the solar system. It is now 260 years later and a hundred years after the fall of those mining corporations ownership of the domes and its inhabitants we find that that Mar's Darkside of Vice, gambling, prostitution, murderous bandit gangs, corrupted officials and mining is till prevalent on Mars. Though the once powerful corporations are no longer there, their legacy of association to earths organized crime and Vice still remains.

Mar's Darkside is a story of how 5 orphaned teen boys one 15, twins 14, 13 and 12 and their gambling addictive guardian take on that legacy to finally put an end to it on Mar's. Each orphan has a back story of their own, how that Vice has affected their lives and loss of loved ones. How united together they suffer further loss of their foster parents at the hands of the vilest murderer on Mars. The teens discover secrets of Mars hidden for some 4,300 years that aid them in seeking revenge. Mar's Darkside is about to get a facelift, but not before that darkside is revealed in all its horrors. Where there's Dark, there is always Light hidden. Revenge may lead you to the Darkside, but the Light brings hope for humanity on Mars. Where there is Hope there is justice.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。 450円

The Life of a Reluctant Hero【電子書籍】[ Rowlen Delaware Vanderstone III ]

楽天Kobo電子書籍ストア

Are Hero's born, or do they just happen? When is a Hero a reluctant Hero? Are all hero's superhero's, or are they just ordinary? Does a hero leap into action without hesitation, or do they need motivation? Do all hero's need recognition, or do some walk away back into obscurity? Does a hero need a public relation firm to represent them? Or do they just wing it alone, hoping they get by on their good looks? What if a hero is downright ugly? Even maybe a clutch, jinxed, stupid, shy, depressed, short and tubby. Afraid of heights, spiders, snakes, relationships. Wears glasses, has a Hearing loss, introverted. As common as a dust bunny under the bed. Are hero's dime a dozen or one in a million, or a onetime thing and yesterday's news. Does a non-hero wake up one morning and find they are suddenly gifted with powers or wake up and it is all a dream? What if suddenly all the hero's one day suddenly vanish, and none are left on earth to save the day. Except one reluctant person who doesn't even know they are a hero hiding under the bed with the dust bunny's when bullies show up from another world, alien space pirates taking over the world. What if those very dust bunnies under the bed are aliens, allies who give our person the courage and the powers to defeat the alien bullies? What if, who are we kidding, what if our reluctant hero is jinxed, stupid, shy, depressed, short and tubby, afraid of heights, spiders, snakes, relationships, wears glasses has a hearing loss, and is introverted, or just ordinary. Sneezes and obliviates all the dust bunnies under the bed. End of the world and our story ends before it begins. But I don't believe in 'What if's'? Letters to the Dead【電子書籍】[ Rowlen Delaware Vanderstone III ]

楽天Kobo電子書籍ストア

In 'Letters to the Dead' it is the things you wanted to say when they were living and couldn't or dare say. Instead, you find 'Letting go Isn't Easy.' Many find it is often too late to say what they needed to say while the loved one was alive. Some regret what they did say when they were alive, and it was too late to take back the words. Just as many wish they could have mended the fence between them before it was too late. Regrets you have to live with until the end of your days. This is a collection of letters I have come to write in my mind then down in paper, when I find I wish there could have been a time before a loved one died, a friend passes on, to have been able to forgive them for the troubles between you, or the good and the best times between you. The letters cover many I have lost from parents, to Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles, brother, and friends. Some who have passed on before I was born and afterwards, some at early an age, others from illness and preparation for their passing. While some to sudden by accident and unexpectedly. All those who have gone before me leave an emptiness in me, that I didn't have time to know them or grow old with them.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。 450円

The Myth Busters Journey【電子書籍】[ Rowlen Delaware Vanderstone III ]

楽天Kobo電子書籍ストア

The year is 3,745 on the planet Earth in the solar system, 400 hundreds years after the great diaspora of earth ships leaving for the stars to colonize other worlds. More than 1,200 years after earth finally changed things around with climate change restoring earths sustainability and entering an era of high technology and exploring it's solar system. Earth population grew to nearly 50 billion people were great Mega cities rose up into the air to house its ever-increasing population. This time it was not war, or climate change that threatened humanity but famine and the lack of viable land to produce earths food for such a population. In 3,345 nearly half the earth's population left an overpopulated planet, reached for the stars full of habitable planets.

Those left behind gradually, over the course of time found themselves either, living in those mega cities now known as wild cities of chaos where the high tech of 400 years ago no longer worked. Tame cities were mostly rural communities that have managed to sustain themselves without that high tech. Many returning to an era from the 21st century with basic needs to get by in each tame community with their own rules and laws with no unified government and leadership. Whereas the Mega cities where lawless often warring between different factions within their cities. This story isn't about the Mega cities or the Tame cities. There was a third group, called the enclaves who were scattered over the central United states. They had a council of elders per enclave, and an elder of Elders council over all enclaves. They had a uniformed code of rules and laws to govern how they would sustain themselves, first by avoiding the wild cities, second, by not enforcing their Book of Rules and Laws on the many Tame cities and rural communities. Yet, where friends of many such communities. Each enclave served a purpose in providing skills and trades without the use of high tech, even low tech. Akin to century old arts and crafts communities of an earlier time. This story is about five teen boys from one enclave who sought to prove one way or another the Myth of the Diaspora. Did colony ships really leave earth 400 years ago? If so, where is the proof? Where are the great ship building facilities that built these ships? Where are the space ports these ships launched from? And why after 400 years no one came back to check up on earth. Like a coin it had two sides to it. One big what if, was the other side of that story, the unanswered myth, that keeps popping up. Did human's leave earth voluntarily, or were they taken off earth by force? And if so, why and by whom. Our Myth Busters, Dingus 16, his younger brother Marvin 14, Billy 16, Harry 16, and Lenny 16, all set out on a journey of more than 3,400 miles to find answers in a world where air-cars once flew across roadways, and man had a moon stations on earth moon, and walked on Mars, and an unlimited energy source that didn't use carbon fuels to pollute earth's atmosphere. The best source of transportation now was horse and buggy, covered wagons, or walking.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。 500円

Prophecy of Twelve【電子書籍】[ Rowlen Delaware Vanderstone III ]

In a time so old and forgotten there was a prophecy written that 6 siblings would be born two sets of triplets from different mothers, and the same father months apart, 2 boys, one girl from one mother, 2 girls one boy from another mother, the six having the same father. One set would be orphaned at birth, never knowing mother or father and grow up not knowing they had siblings from a different mother and the same father. The second set would be born motherless, a father who dies by the time they are Five years old. One set was sent to an orphanage as new born infants, the other set sent to the same orphanage five years later. They knew not that either set was their siblings. In their youth both sets learned they had powers they feared to reveal. As things go in the world, there is a balance of Good and Evil. Another two sets of triplets are born, the opposite in misfortune, to know both their mothers and the same father. They too in their youth learned of their powers, but did not fear them or hide them. They were raised in a household as 6 siblings that were taught to use there powers for ill gain. In time they would be the bane of their Father. It was said that the 12 would meet again and again to decide the fate of the world. Good did not always prevail when they met in battle, and they would be reborn under the same circumstances, while the Evil siblings prospered and the world was ruled by them. The prophecy says, that when the good siblings are reborn they will once again battle the evil siblings and this time they would be victors and lead the world in a time of peace. The Evil siblings would perish only in time to be reborn again and the battle to rule the earth would repeat itself five times until one wins the sixth and final battle over the other, and the loser would perish never to be reborn again, and Good or Evil would live eternally among the people of the world. The prophecy has been forgotten as the generations have past. Good as been reborn and died over and over again. Evil has been reborn and died over and over again. The world going from one cycle of prosperity to another, and a cycle of despair and ruin. The final battle is nearing, as the Good 6 find themselves in the same orphanage not knowing both sets are siblings from the same father but different mothers. They being being the same age, though not knowing they are only a few months apart in age. The infant siblings records sealed and they raised in ignorance of what their last surname is, while the second set of siblings arriving having no knowledge of their surname either being so young when their father died. The Wall【電子書籍】[ Rowlen Delaware Vanderstone III ]

楽天Kobo電子書籍ストア

A new younger generation was beginning to question the myths of Earth and its many wonders. If Earth had space faring ships why didn’t they visit this corner of the universe. Some even asked how they got here, if the myths said they came from Earth, and if they came from Earth then why didn’t they have all the wonderful tech of the 27th century of Earth when the myths said the colony came from that era. The most burning question was, why where they forbidden to go beyond the borders that enclosed there land. What was beyond that border? Some said there was a 175-foot wall that marked that border. And a 30 plus miles thick band of bad lands, sparse, desert like. And how do you get past that wall that no one could even remember seeing. Was there a way through the bad lands to the wall, and who built the wall? No one alive today or in the last two generations has ever seen a wall or spoken of a wall. No textbooks in school ever spoke of a wall. No textbook in school ever spoke of Earth except as a fairytale. If you heard anything about Earth or this being a colony world it was in fireside stories passed on from generations to generation or written in personal diaries. Diaries that were forbidden to have in your possession. The government could not ban oral history, only if a person spoke of such things publicly and challenged the official history of the world they lived on. They would suddenly disappear and never seen again. Anyone who would be heard talking about the mysteries wall in the north beyond the badlands, would also disappear. It had been many decades since the last disappearance. These was the many questions that where asked by the younger generation today after a thousand years being on a planet they were told was there home world, while the whispers among the elders would say it was a colony world. One bright lad decided he wanted to find out the answers, and he recruited some other bright lads to help him find those answers.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。 347円

If one touches you, you turn into a frog Mort.” Steve said.
“Stop it you two, Mort there is no such thing as pond sprites. Shiny Orbs of light that come out of the pond to turn you into a frog. The boys are teasing you.” Debbie tried to comfort Mort.
“Debbie, if there are no pond sprites then what are those?’ Mort said pointing at the Pond were 12 glowing lights floated just under the surface of the water about 20 feet offshore heading into shore. One by one six Orbs came to the surfaces, hovering just above water dancing around in a circle. Then jumping over each other as they rose higher into the air while the remaining six Orbs remained in the water. The first six Orbs held position some 8 feet above the ponds surface hovering changing colors, dancing around each other. The six teens stood on the shore mesmerized by the Orbs as they slowly approached the shore. The closer they came the teens heard a soothing melody of sounds that were out of this world. First one orb, then the next, and the next until all Orbs were hovering in front of the six teens no more than a yard away, stationary in the air.
“What are they Charley?” Terry the first to speak.
“I don’t know Terry.”
“Are they drones of some sort.” Steve asked.
“I don’t think they are pond sprites, that’s for sure.” Debbie spoke.
“Becky, what are you doing, don’t go near them?” Mort yelled at his sister.
“I can’t help it Mort, my wheelchair seems stuck in forward. My joystick won’t respond.” Becky shouted back at Mort. “Mort what is happening?”
“Becky, your wheelchair is raising off the ground hang on sis.” Mort yelled.
“Help me, someone help me.” Becky screamed.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。 346円

Write what you know about has always been what any inspiring writer is told to do. What any struggling playwright is asked to do. What any songwriter should write about. Something in your life that inspires you, the sunset over the lake, as two lovers sit around a small fire huddled together talking about their future. How many kids to have, what job they would like to do. What college to attend. How big a wedding to plan? What they felt the first time their eyes settled on each other from across the room and your heart said “I am going to marry that girl. She doesn’t know it yet, but we are going to fall in love and fireworks will burst in the night air, and birds will sing a chorus of songs to warm our hearts. And the songwriter in you writes a book of love songs. The playwright writes a 3 act play of Love found on a moonlit night. Was their life’s perfect growing up. Where their father or mother drunks, father a wife beater, or abused their children or cheat on their spouse.
It was theorized a thousand years after Time Travel Technology was developed on Earth that Time and Destiny itself was a fixed predetermined chain of events since the very moment that life in the Universe began after the Big Bang. Some believe that to change Time and Destiny, you would bring the Universe to its predetermine end prematurely in the Future. Others believed that such a change would stop the Big Bang and there would be no future from the beginning of the Big Bang going forward to the future. In the 121st century, Time Travel Technology was born, and so were two opposing theories. The Guardians of Destiny believed that Time and its many strands must always flow forward and that the past should never be changed. They took the responsibility of keeping Time and Destiny on track to make sure that the Anti-Time Order. Those who believed the Guardians of Destiny meddling was going to destroy the Universe in the past. While the Order they believe they had to destroy the birth of Time Travel Technology by changing the future to stop the Guardians of Destiny, even it if meant the Universe would end in the Future to save the past. Both groups were meddlers in Time and Destiny. One corrected and the other corrupted Time and Destiny. Only one group would face Destiny’s Fate.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。 114円

The Journey There【電子書籍】[ Rowlen Delaware Vanderstone III ]

What you are about to read is from a journal that was started as a project in therapy in 1975. I was asked to write the more prominent events of my life starting with the present and work backwards to the earlier years of my life. I continued that journal for many years in many forms, those events that have played important parts in my life. They have not always been good fortune for me. They have mostly been traumatic and have influenced the makeup of my emotional well being and perceptions of people around me. Those events around my birth and shortly after having been recorded and remembered from the versions my mother and family have told me. Where allowed, I have embellished to some extend the entries to give credence to events that are lacking in factual memory or written history. The embellishment does not make then any less true. My mother has always been surprised at my ability to remember events that happened at such an early time in my life. She would claim it was impossible to have such memories at such a tender age. She failed to recognize the fact that the subconscious does register and hold in reserve such events that were traumatic and painful to be both physically and emotionally. Often these memories would surface and reveal some part of my childhood that were forgotten. Where other memories have always been present, and foremost as a part of life as far back as I can remember.

If we never speak our minds, we will never know what it is to have a voice that is heard. When that voice is silent. Many will never know what true wisdom was lost to them. When one’s mind is fooled into believing they have no voice and shouldn’t be heard. That mind is never going to believe they have a voice that matters. All voices matter, all minds have something to say. When we are taught that we don’t matter, the mind must make a choice. Do we shut down our minds, stifle our thoughts, and never speak out, or do we open our voice and protest what is wrong? When the minds of many are suppressed to believe that they are worthless to the community. Unfit to be a citizen of the community. That their skin is the wrong color, or their mind is to weak and ignorant.
Not all voices have your best interest in their heart. Those that use their voice to tell you, you are not wanted are voices that want to demean you. To make you believe what they say. To keep you a subject under their authority, so that their voice has power over your voice and what you mind should believe. These voices do not want you to think for yourself. These voices want you to have no voice in their community. These voices tell you they are the voice of truth, and yours is the voice of lies. These voices have an agenda to make you the lessor and them the better. These voices want you to be always subjected to poverty so that their wealth is greater than yours. These voices what you underemployed so that they will always be your boss. These voices want you to be uneducated so that their minds will always be superior to yours. Their voice is important to only them and yours have no value to them. This is subjugation of the weak mind, the masses, so that they are seen as your master and control all aspect of your minds and voice. They use their voice to distract you from the truth, that their voices are lies. The voice that is dipped in honey is in reality a mind that is steeped in vinegar and a voice that spews hatred behind closed doors.
Know this your mind is stronger when your voice speaks out and reveal the truths as lies. Your voice is a force that can change the circumstances of your life. Your voice is just as important as the voices that seek to keep you confused and blind to reality. When your voice joins the voices of other’s to affect change, the community of voices can achieve the difficult challenge of their lives. Change the wrong voices from deceiving your mind and taking away your voice. The mind without a voice is a stagnated life. But the voice that has a righteous mind, a compassionate heart and the True light of the truth can make even the hardest cynic, the racist mind, the coldest heart, the corrupted politician and the powerful cringe in fear of that light. Do not hide that light behind your fears. Reveal that light and your voice will be heard and your mind free of the burden you were told you do not matter. All of God’s people are equal in God’s eyes, and no man or women has the right to say you are not equal to them. That your truths are lies, and their lies’ are truths. Do not be distracted by those who want your voice silenced, and your mind hidden from the light. For they seek only to divide you from your rights, your freedom, your equality so they can rule over your mind and bury your voice. If we never speak our minds, we will never know what it is to have a voice that is heard.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。 109円

Misfits in Space【電子書籍】[ Rowlen Delaware Vanderstone III ]

The Misfits of Wellmore University are the brightest and most promising graduates of the class of the year 815 PED (Post Earth Diaspora) 30th century AD . Graduating was problematic when a hate relationship with the Dean of the University Archaeology Department and studies sparks rebellion among the close nit team of young men and women when the Deans jealousy of this teams abilities and apparent favoritism by the University president leads to censure and threats of failure by the Dean. With graduation approaching, the dean hatches a plot to assign the team with its final field work of study, an assignment with a built-in margin for failure that will force the Dean to fail the team and get revenge against the University Board of Trustee's for their failure to promote the dean to the head provost of the University. However, the misfits, having an ace in the hole, manage to thwart the Deans attempts to fail them. Their ace is a secret fact that they are first cousins, and the Board of Trustees are their parents, and the President of the University their Great grandfather. The Dean is unaware of this fact which would explain to him why the misfits never seemed to get into serious trouble for their many shenanigans, minor rule breaking, and poor deportment as serious students. Though when all was said and done, they passed all exams with exceptional grades, handed in important thesis's on time, and well, always managed to avoid serious demerits for their misconduct outside of class.
It is the Deans hope that the last field work assignment for graduation will be side railed by leaving the assignment for the misfits as a last-minute arrangement assuring that the only good research space ships are assigned earlier to the other graduating class teams. The last ship on the space field is a derelict that should have been sent to the junkyard years ago. The dean leaves the university for family business, believing the misfits will be unable to reach him, nor be able to fulfill their obligations for graduation. Unknown to the Dean, the University had received new research ship early, the first of a new fleet to replace its ailing fleet. When the misfits report to the space field they are given the honor of being the first to pilot and use the new ship for their final graduation assignment to a previously explored planet the dean believes to be a dead end for any opportunity for the misfits to fulfill any Archaeology discoveries and research the other student teams will have. Of course, the misfits prove the dean wrong by discovering the latest find of the millennium. And it is not just a ruin on the surface of the planet, but the whole planet is an ancient world ship who's surface dwellers have no idea that their planet is a space ship. The Dean's revenge is thwarted, and the misfits turn the tables on the Dean when they return with their find and a new space ship to boot. Oh, did I mention that the new research ship is also the latest Earth Federation Military prototype the Misfits get to test drive, and how they confront space pirates in a life and death battle. Must have slipped my mind.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。 109円

Yes it is a true story, now let me complete my introduction. ‘Once upon a time there where Dragons living in the Realm. Many believed they were just a myth, fairy tales told little boys and girls. When in fact they once did live and where real. What was also real was an Ancient Foe of the Dragons. The Ancient Foe tricked the Father of Dragons into letting him come through a magical portal to this Realm. The Father of Dragons was the first Dragon to have magic and every Dragon he sired had magic. The Ancient Foe was an evil corporal spirit with dark magic that hated all things living. For thousands of years the Dragon with their allies man, fought the Ancient Foe’s evil in two wars. In the first war the Dragons managed to imprison this Ancient Foe. But the Ancient Foe managed to escape his prison thousands of years later and start another war. Again, the Dragons imprisoned the Ancient Foe again. This second war was devastating, where the populations of Dragon and men were decimated, more so for the Dragons. The new Dragon King decided to send all but a few hundred of his subjects to travel into the stars to find a new home where they would be safe from the Ancient Foe when he would escaped his prison for a third time. The Dragon Grand sire created two rings which he called the Dragon’s Embrace. He told his Grandsons to go out into the Realm among man and take the form of men to add there magical Dragon Bloodline to man’s bloodline. The Dragon Grand sire being more the 18,000 years old, sacrificed his life and split his spirit up into two parts, Green and White, and he entered his two parts in to the rings. For a thousand years, the twin lived as men, and started the first dynasty of human kings strong in the Dragon bloodline and magic. A time finally came when two cousins where born on the same day, an hour apart, Twin cousins, who had a long family tree of twins in the family all the way back to the first human Twin kings. Dragons Embrace【電子書籍】[ Rowlen Delaware Vanderstone III ]

“Your Terror, what about mine. I was afraid I would miss that lion and hit both of you knocking you off the tether. You didn’t see the other two Lions waiting at the end of the jungle. Licking their chops waiting for their dinner to drop in their laps. The one I zapped might have landed on his feet, but he tried to walk away and discovered he had broken a leg. He is now the lunch special for the day.” Toby turned to Troy. “Tell Rodney, we have rescued two fools who think they could take a Sunday walk in the park and walk on the grass, ignoring the signs ‘Do not Walk on the Grass’ penalty, devourment by hungry Lions.” Toby stormed off with the lighting rod in his hands. Billy and Tommy just sat there trembling not knowing if it was terror of being eaten by Lions, or terror of being chewed and spit out by Toby.
“I looked over that railing with that lightening rod. I saw for the first time, how high I was, I tried to focus on that lion, but my eyes blurred, and my head started spinning. I felt myself falling Billy. I was afraid I was going to fall off the railing. I tried to focus on that Lion, and I just couldn’t get my eyes to focus. Then I closed my eyes and shot that bolt blind. I opened my eyes knowing I had missed and you two falling to the ground. I couldn’t believe my eyes that I had hit that beast and not you two. Then you two climbed on the deck and started laughing like it was a walk in the park. I was so angry at you two for laughing. When, I should have grabbed you two and hugged the life out of you, thankful that I missed you and hit that lion. No, I had to get angry. I am ashamed of myself.” Toby cried as he embraced his Cousin.
Billy embraced, his cousin back. “Toby, you shouldn’t be ashamed for being angry at me. For the first time I am the one who took a walk in the park with a pride of Lions after me. Usually, it is you I am rescuing from something you have foolishly done. If anyone should be ashamed it is me. I let you down and myself. I not only risked my life, but Tommy’s and this expedition.” Billy tried to explain.
Toby looked up at his cousin and dried his tears off. “I shouldn’t be on this expedition Billy, I froze, I let my fear of Heights get the best of me. I could have killed you and Tommy.” Toby cried.
Toby Mick, you didn’t. If anyone should be at fault here, it is me, if I had not wanted to take that walk in the jungle, I would not have put you in the situation of having to lean over that rail and try to shoot that lion down. Blind or not, you hit that Lion right in the face the smallest target to hit. You don’t give yourself enough credit Toby. As for chewing us out, you are the co-leader in this group, and we deserved to be chewed out. So, stop being a shame of yourself Toby, I have enough shame for the both of us. So, wipe those tears off before I start crying.” Billy ordered.
“You won’t tell the others will you, I mean me out here crying like a child who last his favorite toy.” Toby asked.
“No, I won’t Toby. There is nothing wrong for a man to cry. It is a sign of courage to cry, not to hide your feelings. Enough men don’t, they bottle-up their feelings. In fact, I think I am going to cry now Toby, tears of love for my cousin, not because you saved my life today. But because you are the closest thing to a brother any man could wish for, a man who is willing to close his eyes and hope he doesn’t miss. Not to many men out there with that kind of courage”. Billy embraced his cousin. “Let us cry together brother.” And that is what they did until they couldn’t cry anymore, and they sat there embraced until the sun set.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。 109円

Time Jumper【電子書籍】[ Rowlen Delaware Vanderstone III ]

I had just finished a field assignment and was returning to home base when the annoying tick, tick, in my left ear alerted me to an incoming call from the USSA, the Universal Space Security Agency, where I was employed as an agent in their TJO division. That is the Time Jumping Organization where I work, which seldom used mundane methods for contacting their agents in the field. Under protest, I allowed them to surgically place a Com Link just behind the left ear in place of the Mastoid bone. This communication link was then attached to the brain. The device served many purposes the least of which is to affect silent communication between the wearer and the TJO command center. Another function was to allow super sensitive hearing, monitor body vitals, and allow the wearer to snoop in on any electronic communication system, unless you are in a period of time where there is no such technology. It has been very useful in tracking those individuals who thought to escape into such time periods to avoid detection. It wasn’t obvious to them that they would stand out like a sore thumb when they forgot their own implants and Time Marker inserted into their blood streams would signal a tracker to their where abouts. Regardless of these advantages, it was a permanent source of annoyance, this vexation on the part of the USSA and TJO to always be able to contact me whenever they wanted to. Usually right after an assignment ended or during an extended leave for restoration and relaxation. The tick, tick, would keep on ticking until you called in your location, or failing to do so would result in a louder ticking until you did, or it would kill you. Only a suicidal agent would ignore the ticking, only a very few did willingly. Since I am not willing, I called in my location and was shocked to find a new assignment waiting for me. I was ordered back to the American Division of TJO’ s, at the HQ of the USSA I was to report as of yesterday and yesterday was two days ago. The code book was clear on what I was to do. I would jump back 48 hours and arrived at HQ right on time.
Time Jumping is like a very old hat, in the year 2795, a very comfortable part of your life. Anyone with the right connections and permits could time jump, and the government was as fussy as it could be when it came to giving out permits to just anyone. So far only the USSA TJO were permitted to time jump. All others were considered rogues, criminals who time jumped to affect changes in the time line to benefit their own criminal activities. It was my job to catch these rogues and correct the time line. It wasn’t an easy job, but the travel perks were out of this world literally when your assignment took you off planet. Off planet time jumping was rare, so us TJO agents spent much of our time on planet bouncing around the time line to various points in history. Jumps ahead were possible, but very risky when you consider the fact that you could reach a point in future time where you come across some new unknown element of decease, bacteria contamination, or whatever that you could bring back into past time. Past times would not have the means to combat or identify the problem and earth would perish unable to fight the contaminates of the future. Jumping ahead was limited to just a few hours to under a few days of present time, usually done to give the MTC an observation of how a mission might turn out.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。 109円

The Honorable Thing to Do【電子書籍】[ Rowlen Delaware Vanderstone III ]

“I am the Grand Master of the Guild of Scribes, Kzomu Se. I am about to embark on a journey that will take me far beyond this world. This letter is the last thing I will have written, and the first thing you should be reading. The journal you are about to read will tell you about the last Solar year of the 6th era in the 635th Solar Year. The journal itself is the events of my life up to this Solar time and Solar date that I write this letter. Forgive me if the reading of this journal becomes somewhat boring and technical at first. For I must tell you first a bit about ourselves, our guilds, and our history as we know it. These facts are important. For they will set the background for my story. When you read this letter, I can only guess that it will be many centuries after my exodus to the stars before another Terranian will read this journal. If everything goes as planned, the many events and conditions met, you the reader will have already gained access, and passed through the great doors. Thus, I can only assume that you have viewed the final visual message which has lead you to finding the journal. This letter is another introduction to who I am.”
“I lived in a time after the last great wars that brought vast destruction upon the land and the people of the world we know as Terrania. I lived in a period where enlightenment was at its pinnacle for our, time. Bright were the times of the lives of Terrania, for nearly Ten Thousand years the people lived in harmony among nature and science. Having reached a time when the people prospered. We lived with a balance of order and chaos and reached a near immortal life among the known stars. Disease was conquered, poverty non-existent, and war was so much of the past that not even the eldest of the people who were alive knew firsthand the destructive ways of war. This ignorance would later become our bane for we forgot who was our most deadly enemy. I was the youngest ever Grandmaster of the Guild of Scribes, the last of the Grandmasters appointed.
