Hier setzt das Thema dieser Arbeit an: 'Vom Latein zu den Volkssprachen. Der Umbruch in der Verbreitung der christlichen Botschaft im 16. Jahrhundert.' Damit ist ein doppelter Wandel angedeutet. Ein Wandel in der Verbreitung der christlichen Botschaft und ein Wandel in der Sprache. Das eine ist ohne das andere nicht vorstellbar. Ziel der Arbeit ist es, exemplarisch Zusammenh?nge dieses Bedingungsgeflechts zu untersuchen. Dazu ist der sprachliche und historische Hintergrund zu beleuchten, ohne den die Entwicklung, die ein ganzes Faktorenb?ndel beeinflu?t hat, nicht nachzuvollziehen ist. Anhand des Wirkens zweier prominenter Gelehrter des 16.
