She has been wearing kimono for over 30 years and has extensive experience as a writer and researcher and is a qualified kimono dresser and teacher.＜/p＞ ＜p＞Melanie Uematsu＜br /＞ Melanie was born in Germany and moved to Japan in order to pursue her dream of becoming a tailor. She owns her own atelier in Tokyo where she creates wedding dresses and gowns, as well as high-quality every-day-wardrobe for women of 56 countries so far.＜/p＞ ＜p＞Misao Itoh＜br /＞ Misao started her career as a fashion stylist and then journalist for various Japanese newspapers and magazines, before becoming the Editor-in-chief of Harper’s Bazaar Japan until 2006. She published various novels in the past few years.＜/p＞ ＜p＞Kristin Newton＜br /＞ Kristin is a glass artist living in Tokyo, Japan.
