Zun?chst einmal sollte die Bekanntheit des Alumni-Begriffs sowie die Bekanntheit des Netzwerkes an der Fachhochschule Jena ermittelt werden. Weitere Unterziele sind, eine fachhochschul- und studentengerechte Kontaktgestaltung aufzubauen, die Zufriedenheit mit (und an der) FH Jena festzustellen, sowie die Anspr?che an ein Alumni-Netzwerk der zuk?nftigen Mitglieder abzuleiten. Im Fragebogen wurden denkbare Leistungen des Netzwerkes aufgelistet, um auf Grund der Antworten, die wichtigsten Leistungen zu selektieren und eine Rangfolge aufzustellen. Weiterhin erwartet sich die FH Jena das Einbringen eigener Leistungen der Alumni, in verschiedenster Art und Weise. Entscheidend f?r die Alumni-Arbeit ist es zudem, Kenntnisse ?ber die Zahlungsbereitschaft der Absolventen, Studenten und Unternehmen zu erlangen. Der letzte Schwerpunkt bei der Befragung lag auf der Kontakterhaltung der Absolventen zur FH Jena bzw. den Fachbereichen im Allgemeinen sowie mit Kommilitonen und Professoren im Einzelnen. Die zuvor beschriebenen Ziele und die dazugeh?rigen Auswertungen der Studie sind im Gliederungspunkt vier ausf?hrlich beschrieben. Mehrere gute Gr?nde gaben Anlass ein solches Projekt ins Leben zu rufen. Zum einen ist da die unsichere finanzielle Zukunft des Bildungssektors in Deutschland ganz allgemein und die der Hochschulen im Speziellen. Immer ?fter wird ?ber immense K?rzungen in diesem Sektor seitens der Regierung gesprochen. Zum anderen auf Grund der leeren Kassen des Bundes und der L?nder wird es in den n?chsten Jahren darauf hinaus laufen, dass sich die h?heren Bildungseinrichtungen zu einem immer gr??er werdenden Teil aus eigenen Mitteln finanzieren m?ssen. Um einen Eindruck der aktuellen Situation des Fachbereiches BW in dieser Arbeit vermitteln zu k?nnen, habe ich mehrere Interviews mit Kommilitonen gef?hrt und auch eigene Erfahrungen in meine Arbeit mit einflie?en lassen. Um eine detaillierte Beurteilung der bestehenden strategischen Probleme des Fachbereiches vornehmen zu k?nnen und Ansatzpunkte f?r L?sungen zu finden, m?sste die systematische Qualit?tssicherung, die an deutschen Hochschulen seit 1994 in Form der Evaluation der Lehre ihre Anwendung findet, durchgef?hrt werden.1 Das vom Wissenschaftsrat empfohlene System ist die interne und externe Evaluation. Die interne Evaluation besteht dabei aus einer systematischen Bestandsaufnahme und Analyse der Lehre und des Studiums durch den Fachbereich beziehungsweise der Fakult?t und endet mit einem schriftlichen Bericht (Selbstreport). Auf dieser Basis findet in einem zweiten Schritt eine Vor- Ort- Begutachtung durch externe, das hei?t nicht der jeweiligen Hochschule angeh?renden Experten statt, die ihre Erkenntnisse und Empfehlungen wiederum in einem schriftlichen Abschlussbericht niederlegen. Anschlie?end wird in der Regel zwischen betroffenem Fachbereich und Hochschulleitung ein Ma?nahmenkatalog erarbeitet, der auch konkrete Zwischenschritte und Termine f?r die Umsetzung enthalten sollte.2 Die interne Beurteilung haben wir in den von uns gestalteten Alumni-Fragebogen mit einflie?en lassen, dessen Auswertung im dritten Teil dieser Seminararbeit ausgewertet wurde.
