Ancora oggi i pescatori sostengono di poter udire i lamenti del triste fantasma.Particolare attenzione ? stata messa nel fornire al romanzo basi storiche non solo per quanto riguarda la vicenda, ma anche in merito ai luoghi, alle tradizioni, alla nomenclatura e, in genere alla vita quotidiana nel Medio Evo. Tanto che gli abitanti del posto non mancheranno di riconoscere elementi a loro famigliari, e chi del posto non ? sar? probabilmente invogliato a visitarlo e scoprirlo. Per? questo nuovo metodo ha trovato una sua soluzione. Necessariamente.＜br /＞ In merito, aggiungo un mio articolo del settembre 2012.＜br /＞ Anche in tempi non sospetti, ho spesso usato il contatto a mezzo sito web e immagini virtuali. Sembrava normale, essendo una insegnante di disegno e storia dell'arte. Confesso che mi parrebbe molto riduttivo dovere insegnare attraverso un monitor. Ovviamente, se costretta, avrei cercato il modo di farlo.＜br /＞ Non mi trovo coinvolta, in quanto, attualmente, sono in pensione.＜br /＞ Confesso che al tempo del pensionamento, non avrei voluto lasciare ancora il mio lavoro nella scuola. Calabr?, 1979 - 111 pagine), e sono stati davvero tanti i critici d’arte di ottima levatura che hanno parlato della sua arte ed io non mi sento di essere sullo stesso livello.＜br /＞ Non intendo parlare della pittura del maestro Moriniello astrattamente, come potrebbe fare un critico d’arte in quanto non credo molto nella critica e credo, invece, molto, negli artisti stessi.＜br /＞ Carmine Moriniello era, davvero, “Principe, titolato in Spagna - Arma della Casta Molinos - repertorio de Blasones de la Comunidad Hispanica - lettera M - pag. 117 A. discendente diretto dei principi regnanti di Granada.” La nostra famiglia, da parte dei Moriniello, cui mi sento molto legata, proviene dai Molinos di Granada. Per intenderci, quei “mori pelle di luna” che vennero cacciati nel 1492 da Isabella di Castiglia e di Boabdil (Ab?’ Abdall?h, 1452-1528), il sultano spodestato, che si salv? con la fuga e si rifugi? a Malaga presso il fratello Zaghal.＜br /＞ L'espulsione dei moriscos dalla penisola iberica, invece, fu ordinata dal re Filippo III e fu portata a termine nel giro di pochi anni, sia pure per gradi, tra il 1609 e il 1614.＜br /＞ Dopo di che vi fu la diaspora.＜br /＞ Tuttavia Moriniello non era grande per questo (ammesso che per titoli si possa esserlo), lo era in quanto grande pittore sociale, di fama mondiale, che nell’arco della sua vita, ricevette innumerevoli riconoscimenti, nazionali ed internazionali, che lo videro protagonista; fu premiato anche, nel 1965, dall’allora Presidente della Repubblica Italiana, Giuseppe Saragat con medaglia d’oro, per meriti artistici. Da ultimo, non solo cronologicamente e non per importanza, tra i vari riconoscimenti si vide assegnare quello internazionale alla Biennale di Venezia il 3 settembre 1983; di lui hanno tanto parlato e scritto, autorevoli scrittori e critici d’arte, tra i quali Domenico Rea.＜br /＞ Carmine Moriniello, come uomo, ebbe un grande dolore: innamoratosi a soli quattordici anni di una bella ragazza a nome Anna, che ne aveva soltanto dodici, trasform? in matrimonio quel lungo percorso d’amore e perse la sua donna alla nascita della loro figlioletta Elvira.＜br /＞ Poi venne ingoiato dalla guerra, assieme alla sua sofferenza.＜br /＞ Ebbe, dopo, il coraggio di vivere e dedic? all’arte tutta la sua vita, chiuso, pi? avanti, nel suo studio di Via Giacinto Gigante, ore, coi colori e le idee sociali che gli fluttuavano per la testa.＜br /＞ Il numero di opere da lui compiute e le occasioni in cui queste vennero mostrate al pubblico sono innumerevoli. Di certo quel suo chiudersi in uno studio, con il balcone serrato e l’immancabile sigaretta tra le labbra, bene non gli fece, giacch? mor? per un tumore ai polmoni. Ragione, questa, del mio disgusto per le sigarette, che mi fecero abbandonare il fumo da un giorno all’altro a quarant’anni, essendo anche io pittrice ed accusandole di avermi privato di mio zio.
