Die M?glichkeit visuelle Reize ?ber eine simple Objekterkennung hinaus als ?sthetisch wahrzunehmen, ist eine der menschlichen Spezies inh?rente F?higkeit. Das Modell der ?sthetischen Erfahrung bietet auf kognitiv-affektiver Ebene eine theoretische Grundlage. Das Modell stellt das Verst?ndnis eines Kunstwerks, neben emotionalen Komponenten, als wesentlichen Teil der ?sthetischen Erfahrung heraus. Pers?nliche Erlebnisse und Erlerntes modulieren die ?sthetische Erfahrung und deren neuronale Grundlagen. Die neuronalen Korrelationen der ?sthetischen Erfahrung versucht die Neuro?sthetik zu identifizieren. Neurowissenschaftliche Studien mit bildgebenden und neurophysiologischen Verfahren deuten auf die prominente Position des linken dorsolateralen Pr?frontalkortex (lDLPFC) innerhalb der ?sthetischen Erfahrung hin. Bisherige Studien untersuchten das Kunstverst?ndnis als essentielle Komponente der ?sthetischen Erfahrung mit Hilfe von abgebildeten Zusatzinformationen in Form von Bildtiteln oder kontextueller Information. Ziel der vorliegenden Studie ist es jedoch, den Zusammenhang zwischen dem lDLPFC und dem Verst?ndnis gegenst?ndlicher Kunst aus einer ?sthetischen Perspektive, zu belegen. Eine artifizielle Aktivierung des lDLPFCs sollte das Verst?ndnis steigern. Diese artifizielle Aktivierung des lDLPFCs wurde ?ber eine anodale transkranielle Gleichstromstimulation (tDCS) erreicht. Das Verst?ndnis von gegenst?ndlichen Kunstwerken wurde durch die Stimulation des lDLPFCs nicht beeinflusst. Allerdings konnte, in ?bereinstimmung mit dem Modell der ?sthetischen Erfahrung, die emotionale Valenz eines Kunstwerks als wichtig f?r die ?sthetische Erfahrung herausgestellt werden. Die Ergebnisse weisen auf die Multimodalit?t der ?sthetischen Erfahrung und deren komplexen neuronalen Grundlagen hin.
