Ein Sulfatangriff auf Beton und M?rtel kann zur Gef?gesch?digung im Zementstein f?hren und dadurch die Zerst?rung des gesamten Bauwerks verursachen. Der Zerst?rungsgrad variiert in Abh?ngigkeit von den Umgebungsbedingungen und der Einwirkungsdauer und kann bis zum Zersetzen des Betons zu einer plastischen Masse reichen. Um diese Betonzerst?rung zu vermeiden, werden in der Betonpraxis entsprechende Zemente mit erh?hter Sulfatbest?ndigkeit eingesetzt oder puzzolanische Zus?tze verwendet. Verschiedene Schadensf?lle zeigen jedoch, da? trotz der Verwendung hochsulfatbest?ndiger Zemente eine Zerst?rung des Betons in sulfatangreifenden W?ssern und B?den unter bestimmten Bedingungen nicht auszuschlie?en ist.＜/p＞ ＜p＞Neben der bekannten Sch?digung des Betons durch die Neubildung sulfathaltiger Treibminerale wie Gips oder Ettringit (Zementbazillus) stellt auch die Bildung des ettringit?hnlichen, komplex aufgebauten Calciumsilikat-Carbonat-Sulfat-Hydrates "Thaumasit" ein besonderes Problem dar. Die Entstehung des Thaumasits sowie seine Rolle im Mechanismus des Sulfatangriffs auf Beton aus Portlandzementen, Portlandkalksteinzementen ohne oder mit Kalksteinzuschl?gen ist noch nicht gekl?rt. Dabei ist besonders der Einflu? der Temperatur sowie der Sulfatkonzentration auf die Art und Morphologie der entstehenden, sch?digenden Phasen noch weitgehend unklar.＜/p＞ ＜p＞Zur Aufkl?rung dieser Tatsachen bedarf es sowohl der Modifizierung vorhandener Pr?fverfahren als auch der Entwicklung eines neuen, praxisnahen Pr?fverfahrens zur Charakterisierung des Sulfatwiderstandes von Beton und M?rtel.＜/p＞ ＜p＞In der vorliegenden Arbeit soll ?berpr?ft werden, ob Thaumasit nach wenigen Tagen einer Sulfateinwirkung auf Beton und M?rtel entstehen kann. Dabei spielt die Frage, unter welchen Bedingungen Thaumasit gebildet wird und welchen Einflu? der Zusatz von Flugaschen oder Kalksteinmehl hat, eine besondere Rolle. Es soll untersucht werden, wo unter dem Aspekt der＜br /＞ Reaktionsf?higkeit und der Sulfatbest?ndigkeit bei ?u?erem Sulfatangriff die Grenze des Einsatzes von Steinkohlen- bzw. Braunkohlenflugasche in Kombination mit Portlandzement, HS-Zement und Portlandkalksteinzement liegt. In diesem Zusammenhang soll ?berpr?ft werden, ob die Richtlinie des DafStb zur Verwendung von Flugaschen nach DIN EN 450 im Betonbau, die f?r die Herstellung von Beton aus normalen Portlandzementen einen Flugascheanteil im Bindemittel von mindestens 20 % vorsieht, auch in Bezug auf die Thaumasitbildung ausreichende Sicherheit gew?hrleistet.
