Concepts In Coordinate Geometry【電子書籍】[ K. N. P. Singh ]

楽天Kobo電子書籍ストア

The reduction of geometry to algebra requires the notion of a transformation group. The transformation group supplies two essential ingredients. First it is used to define the notion of equivalence in the geometry in question. For example, in Euclidean geometry, two triangles are congruent if there is distance preserving transformation carrying one to the other and they are similar if there is a similarity transformation carrying one to the other. Secondly, in each kind of geometry there are normal form theorems which can be used to simplify coordinate proofs. In analytic geometry, the plane is given a coordinate system, by which every point has a pair of real number coordinates. The most common coordinate system to use is the Cartesian coordinate system, where each point has an x-coordinate representing its horizontal position, and a y-coordinate representing its vertical position. These are typically written as an ordered pair (x, y). This system can also be used for three-dimensional geometry, where every point in Euclidean space is represented by an ordered triple of coordinates (x, y, z). Other coordinate systems are possible. The book provides the students current information on the different areas of this subject. The publication is useful not only to the students but also to the research scholars and academic professionals.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。 12,818円

Drop Heating and Evaporation: Analytical Solutions in Curvilinear Coordinate Systems【電子書籍】[ Gianpietro Elvio Cossali ]

楽天Kobo電子書籍ストア

This book describes analytical methods for modelling drop evaporation, providing the mathematical tools needed in order to generalise transport and constitutive equations and to find analytical solutions in curvilinear coordinate systems. Transport phenomena in gas mixtures are treated in considerable detail, and the basics of differential geometry are introduced in order to describe interface-related transport phenomena. One chapter is solely devoted to the description of sixteen different orthogonal curvilinear coordinate systems, reporting explicitly on the forms of their differential operators (gradient, divergent, curl, Laplacian) and transformation matrices. The book is intended to guide the reader from mathematics, to physical descriptions, and ultimately to engineering applications, in order to demonstrate the effectiveness of applied mathematics when properly adapted to the real world. Though the book primarily addresses the needs of engineering researchers, it will alsobenefit graduate students.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。 12,154円

A Microscopic Theory of Fission Dynamics Based on the Generator Coordinate Method【電子書籍】[ Walid Younes ]

楽天Kobo電子書籍ストア

This book introduces a quantum-mechanical description of the nuclear fission process from an initial compound state to scission. Issues like the relevant degrees of freedom throughout the process, the way of coupling collective and intrinsic degrees during the fission process, and how a nucleus divides into two separate daughters in a quantum-mechanical description where its wave function can be non-local, are currently being investigated through a variety of theoretical, computational, and experimental techniques.
The term “microscopic” in this context refers to an approach that starts from protons, neutrons, and an effective (i.e., in-medium) interaction between them. The form of this interaction is inspired by more fundamental theories of nuclear matter, but still contains parameters that have to be adjusted to data. Thus, this microscopic approach is far from complete, but sufficient progress has been made to warrant taking stock of what has been accomplished so far.
Theaim is to provide, in a pedagogical and comprehensive manner, one specific approach to the fission problem, originally developed at the CEA Bruy?res-le-Ch?tel Laboratory in France.
Intended as a reference for advanced graduate students and researchers in fission theory as well as for practitioners in the field, it includes illustrative examples throughout the text to make it easier for the reader to understand, implement, and verify the formalism presented.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。 7,900円

Coordinate Systems for Games Simplifying the "me" and "we" Interactions【電子書籍】[ Daniel T. Jessie ]

楽天Kobo電子書籍ストア

This monograph develops a method of creating convenient coordinate systems for game theory that will allow readers to more easily understand, analyze, and create games at various levels of complexity. By identifying the unique characterization of games that separates the individual’s strategic interests from the group’s collective behavior, the authors construct a single analytical methodology that readers will be able to apply to a wide variety of games. With its emphasis on practicality and approachability, readers will find this book an invaluable tool, and a viable alternative to the ad hoc analytical approach that has become customary for researchers utilizing game theory.

The introductory chapters serve two important purposes: they review several games of fundamental importance, and also introduce a dynamic that is inherent in games, but has gone unexplored until now. After this has been established, readers will advance from simple 2 x 2 games to games with more player strategies and dynamics. For interested readers, a rigorous treatment of the underlying mathematics is conveniently gathered at the end of the book. Additional topics of interest, such as extensive form and coalitional games, are presented to help readers visualize more complex settings that will be vital in aiding the understanding of advanced topics, such as coalition-free Nash points, multi-player repeated games, and more.

Coordinate Systems for Games is ideal for a wide variety of researchers interested in game theory, including social scientists, economists, mathematicians, computer scientists, and more. The authors' approachable style also makes this accessible to an audience at any scale of experience, from beginning non-specialists to more practiced researchers.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。 7,292円

Textbook Of Vector Analysis And Coordinate Geometry【電子書籍】[ Ramanand Singh ]

楽天Kobo電子書籍ストア

Analytic geometry, or analytical geometry, has two different meanings in mathematics. The modern and advanced meaning refers to the geometry of analytic varieties. This article focuses on the classical and elementary meaning. In classical mathematics, analytic geometry, also known as coordinate geometry, or Cartesian geometry, is the study of geometry using a coordinate system and the principles of algebra and analysis. This contrasts with the synthetic approach of Euclidean geometry, which treats certain geometric notions as primitive, and uses deductive reasoning based on axioms and theorems to derive truth. Analytic geometry is widely used in physics and engineering, and is the foundation of most modern fields of geometry, including algebraic, differential, discrete, and computational geometry. Presentation of matter in this textbook is very simple and lucid and has covered wide variety of problems, solved and unsolved both. This book will also provide great help to those who are preparing for IAS/PCS and various other competitive examinations which demands coordinate geometry of two and three dimension and vector calculus in one book.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。 45,934円

Neutrinos, Parallelizable, Regionally-Unified, Stable, Many-Toral-Component-Energetic-Coordinate-Hyperbolic-Metric-Space-Structures, and UFO’s (or Flying Saucers) UFO’s and The Human Spirit【電子書籍】[ martin concoyle ]

楽天Kobo電子書籍ストア

Following the advertisement in Kobo, for the book Arguing Science, there is the split in ideas between Sheldrake and Shermer,

R Sheldrake (bring the spirit into measurable descriptions, because the strictly inertial-geometric context does not work) and M Shermer (only allow measurable description to be based on solution-functions to the set of inertial-pde’s, which identify the laws of physics, where the inertial-pde’s are formulated in inertial-geometric-coordinate-metric-spaces)

Sheldrake and the spirit, according to the ideas of m concoyle, Sheldrake wins the argument, but with some help from concoyle,

Where the ideas presented in the books of m concoyle are about the following:

Western-civilization splits knowledge into two categories: materialism and the spirit, where this split in the structure of language causes the material-world to only be about inertial-component properties, eg inertial-component inertial-interactions, and where this is in an inertial-geometric-coordinate-metric-space context of system-containment,

this also influences math, whereas, the underlying assumption of a coordinate-structure, in math, is that one measures spatial-displacements, which are defined between spatial-points (or spatial-positions), which can be thought of as existing in a coordinate-system,

thus, for a hyperbolic-metric-space, which is an energetic-coordinate-metric-space, the properties which are identified by mathematics are inertial-geometric-coordinate-metric-space properties, but the coordinate-curves…, in a hyperbolic-coordinate-metric-space…, are defined as measuring values, which have properties of energy, ie the coordinate structures in an energetic-coordinate-metric-space respond to energetic-coordinate-closed-circular-curve resonances, and

Planck’s energy-formula…, E = h/T, where T is the period of rotation on a circle…, also identifies an independent coordinate energy-measuring property, this is outside of the inertial-geometric-coordinate-metric-space context of the containment of measurable description of (stable) physical systems, this is a good thing for measurable description, because

the new ideas about energetic-coordinates also introduce a new context about stable energetic-coordinate-structures, which, if they are defined for different dimensional contexts, then they are dimensionally independent of one another,

this new math model introduces the unseen parts of existence, ie it introduces the spirit, into the context of measurable description,

but it is easy for us to not pay attention to these other stable-energetic-coordinate dimensional levels, especially, if we only measure inertial-properties of system-components in a geometric-coordinate-context which has 3-spatial-dimensions,

furthermore, one can identify a parallel-coordinate-mapping math pattern, which is defined between stable-regionally-unified-parallelizable-MTC-energetic-coordinate-structures, so that the parallel-coordinate-maps are mainly influenced by resonances, which exist for the regionally-unified spectral-orbital-values of the stable MTC-energetic-coordinates,

but there is also the assumption that the stable set of elementary-particles are also stable MTC-energetic-coordinates, in particular neutrinos are stable regionally-unified-MTC-energetic-coordinates,

but the internal coordinate-metric-space-state structures of neutrinos are different from those of the stable MTC-energetic-coordinates, which are used to identify stable nuclei, and/or stable atoms, etc,

and the neutrinos are about internal coordinate-maps, which are defined within a stable MTC-energetic-coordinate model, eg a math models of (say) the solar-system, but the coordinate-maps are still defined between stable energetic-coordinate-structures, and their coordinate-mappings are also based on regional spectral-orbital resonances, the neutrino-energetic-coordinate-structures can define toral-threads, which can reach from nuclei out to the outer-bounds of the solar--system, and so on,

the neutrinos can give internal geometric contexts to the set of stable MTC-energetic-coordinates, ie this is about the geometric angular-momentum coordinate-structures within atoms, molecules, etc,

they can also be the basis for instantaneously transporting inertial-objects (which have many nuclei in their make-up) between the planets, etc, this is the context of UFO’s,

this is well outside of the empire’s physics and math fixed institutional dogmas, so it is excluded from these imperial-intellectual institutions,

truth…, within the imperial civilization…, is only about maintaining the empire’s physics and math fixed institutional dogmas, or it is about maintaining any other imperial institutional dogma, such as religious dogmas,

the empire wants to maintain the “materialism and the spirit,” dichotomy,

the society is authoritarian in this way, because the society is first and foremost a militaristic society,

but

This new knowledge may be the last hope for the knowledgeable and creative attributes of humans to deflect from industrial destruction, to which the civilization is headed,

ie a poisoned earth; and the earth being heated-up,

because of fixed ways of doing things; building the same instruments and using-up the same resources, and poisoning the earth with the wastes of these obsessive processes, and not allowing other knowledge, nor other creative invention, so as to do things in new ways,
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら
It is puzzling that though the imperial institutional physics and math institutions cannot measurably describe elementary-particle properties, ie their arbitrary parameters (eg masses, charge-types, and spin-properties), and their relation to the nucleus, nor can they measurably describe “in any significant way” any of the stable Many-(But-Few)-Component-(or MBFC)-spectral-orbital physical-systems of all size-scales,

they have no idea why the solar-system is stable,

where the empire’s physics and math institutional dogma is based in an (exclusively) inertial-geometric-coordinate-containment context, and this geometric-containment context is associated to their set of inertial-partial-differential-equation’s (or inertial-pde’s), through which the laws of physics are expressed, and in General Relativity, Quantum-Physics, and Particle-Physics, the laws of physics are related to either non-linear inertial-pde’s or the (global) coordinate-contexts…, upon which the measurable descriptions of stable math patterns depend…, are non-commutative,

and thus, this is about unstable math patterns, where unstable math patterns are fleeting and dissipating,

and/but with these laws, the imperial physics and math institutional personnel can only measurably describe some 1-body and some 2-body inertial-dynamic physical-system properties,

yet, the public is supposed to believe that these indoctrinated…, and hence incapable of measurably describing any type of physical-system beyond the 2-body physical-system…, institutional personnel can explain the cosmos,

when they cannot explain nuclear spectral stability,

nor can they explain the spectral-properties of a general atom, nor general molecular properties,

nor can they explain why atomic-molecular lattices form for cooled condensed material,

and they certainly cannot explain why the solar-system is stable (where from human records, we know the solar-system has been stable for at least the last 5000 years, and geologists believe it has been stable for more than 4-billion years), and

they have no believable idea about why galaxies form,

yet, the thermonuclear bomb engineers, who are narrowly focused on particle-collision probabilities for components within thermal systems, are the people who the society is supposed to rely upon to solve the energy-source problems,

but physical models of particle-collisions, which is the basis for nuclear fusion, only relate to valid thermal-systems, which means a thermal system’s particle-components must be contained within a closed and bounded thermal system, or within the fleeting confining context of being bounded by compression within an explosion, but if energy needs to be injected into the thermal-system, then it is not closed and bounded,

that is, to use nuclear fusion to generate energy is depending;

“not on a valid measurable description of a controllable physical-system,”

but rather

it is dependent on “finding a lucky empirical sequence, which leads to the desired machine,”

ie the public is supposed to have faith in the empire’s indoctrinated…. into a fixed dogma with a limited measurably descriptive range…., physics and math institutional personnel, whose efforts can only be about following an empirical path of results, which hopefully leads to the control of clean cheap nuclear fusion, by the method of following a “wild shot into the dark,” type “trial and error” path of empirical results,

but if one is rational, then one would not believe any of the explanations about the properties of the cosmos, which the imperial physics and math institutions provide to the public,

but nonetheless, the imperial physics and math institutions maintain and use their fixed institutional dogma, whose actual range…, in regard to the set of different categories of stable physical-systems, which can be measurably described by their fixed institutional dogma…, is pathetically narrow and limited,

and this means that their sets of: assumptions, interpretations, definitions, contexts, and ways of organizing their dogmatic measurable languages, all need to be changed, if there is to be a valid effort to expand the range of stable physical-systems, which can have their properties measurably described, and, subsequently, used in a practical context,

that is, the imperial physics and math institutions set of assumptions, and their laws of physics need to be challenged, in that, an alternative new measurably descriptive language structure needs to be brought forth,

this is what m concoyle, et al, has done, in regard to all of his written expressions,

Note that; if one is waiting for the black-hole to be harnessed by the imperial physics and math institutions in order to make a UFO (which is what the institutional physics and math people are claiming), then there will never be any UFO’s,

Whereas, the new math ideas, which are based on stable math-patterns, can be used to measurably describe, both the set of stable MBFC-spectral-orbital-physical-systems, as well as the context and motions of objects, which act (or move) as do UFO’s,
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。 468円

Seyfert

The purpose of the book, Coordinate Systems And Their Interconnection, An Introduction With Ready To Use Algorithms, is to provide a certain mathematical approach, which can be used - for instance, to students and engineers so they can become more easily grounded in the interconnection of certain geodetic problems - as ready-for-use algorithms (methodologies) for the conversion of given coordinates and distance calculations (assessments) based upon these coordinates.

The book presupposes some basic knowledge in the areas of coordinate systems and vector representation, and provides sample algorithms written in the MATLAB/SIMULINK environment.

However, this book might also be of interest for a wider readership looking for this kind of mathematical application in connection with personal studies or professional activities.

About the Author

In the author's practice, there were cases when engineering problems arising from technical analyses required the involvement of other disciplines not related to his professional knowledge. In such instances, finding the needed information in the vast numbers of publications and textbooks was not as easy as one may have thought. Several of those incidents turned into the starting point for this book.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。 6,677円

A Combined MRI and Histology Atlas of the Rhesus Monkey Brain in Stereotaxic Coordinates【電子書籍】[ Kadharbatcha S. Saleem ]

楽天Kobo電子書籍ストア

A Combined MRI and Histology Atlas of the Rhesus Monkey Brain in Stereotaxic Coordinates, Second Edition maps the detailed architectonic subdivisions of the cortical and subcortical areas in the macaque monkey brain using high-resolution magnetic resonance (MR) images and the corresponding histology sections in the same animal. This edition of the atlas is unlike anything else available as it includes the detailed cyto- and chemoarchitectonic delineations of the brain areas in all three planes of sections (horizontal, coronal, and sagittal) that are derived from the same animal. This is a significant progress because in functional imaging studies, such as fMRI, both the horizontal and sagittal planes of sections are often the preferred planes given that multiple functionally active regions can be visualized simultaneously in a single horizontal or sagittal section. This combined MRI and histology atlas is designed to provide an easy-to-use reference for anatomical and physiological studies in macaque monkeys, and in functional-imaging studies in human and non-human primates using fMRI and PET.

The first rhesus monkey brain atlas with horizontal, coronal, and sagittal planes of sections, derived from the same animal

Shows the first detailed delineations of the cortical and subcortical areas in horizontal, coronal, and sagittal plane of sections in the same animal using different staining methods

Horizonal series illustrates the dorsoventral extent of the left hemisphere in 47 horizontal MRI and photomicrographic sections matched with 47 detailed diagrams (Chapter 3)

Coronal series presents the full rostrocaudal extent of the right hemisphere in 76 coronal MRI and photomicrographic sections, with 76 corresponding drawings (Chapter 4)

Sagittal series shows the complete mediolateral extent of the left hemisphere in 30 sagittal MRI sections, with 30 corresponding drawings (Chapter 5). The sagittal series also illustrates the location of different fiber tracts in the white matter

Individual variability - provides selected cortical and subcortical areas in three-dimensional MRI (horizontal, coronal, and sagittal MRI planes). For comparison, it also provides similar areas in coronal MRI section in six other monkeys. The Chick Brain in Stereotaxic Coordinates and Alternate Stains Featuring Neuromeric Divisions and Mammalian Homologies【電子書籍】[ Charles Watson ]

楽天Kobo電子書籍ストア

This atlas ? and its accompanying text - is the most comprehensive work on avian neuroanatomy available so far. It identifies more than 900 hundred structures (versus ca. 250 in previous avian atlases), 180 of them for the first time. It correlates avian and mammalian neuroanatomy on the basis of homologies and applies mammalian terms to homologous avian structures. This is the first atlas that represents the fundamental histogenetic domains of the vertebrate neuroaxis on the basis of sound fate-mapping and gene expression data. This results in a substantial increase in accuracy of delineations. Developmental molecular biologists will find it easier to extrapolate early neural tube patterns into mature structures. The modern trend to shift avian neuroanatomical nomenclature toward mammalian terminology by reference to postulated homologies has been expanded to the entire brain, but is not yet complete. This creates a new standard for comparative cross-reference, which can also be applied to reptilian-mammalian comparisons.

Color photographs and matching diagrams of 65 coronal, 23 sagittal and 9 horizontal 140 micron-thick sections reacted histochemically for acetylcholinesterase (AChE).

Thoroughly revised drawings. Updated view of the pallium, including the new concept of homology between the lateral pallium and the mammalian claustro-insular complex.

Extensive introductory text and bibliography, presenting the background information, methodology and justification of delineations.

For the first time in any species, this atlas depicts the fate-mapped natural embryonic boundaries in the postnatal brain.
