<p>Researchers agree that weight change in humans depends on age, gender, height, weight, activity, caloric intake and time on a diet, but an equation that predicted weight change in humans had never been developed. As a result, the public was subjected to outrageous claims like: "Lose 8 kg in 3 weeks!" And this supposedly applied to everyone. Really - what nonsense!</p> <p>Most scientists also concurred that weight loss was governed by the first law of thermodynamics. Then fitness enthusiast Dr. Vincent Antonetti, an engineer and thermodynamics and computer science expert, reasoned that by applying the first law of thermodynamics to humans it should be possible to analyze weight change in human beings.
