The Bf 109 served in every theatre of the war, though in this book the author examines the Tip and Run era, D-Day, and the Eastern Front.

In the later years of the war, the Bf 109 fought with some success in the defense of Germany against Allied bombers. The Bf 109 was the most produced fighter aircraft in history and more aerial kills were made with this fighter than any other aircraft. Indeed, A total of 105 Bf 109 pilots were each credited with the destruction of 100 or more enemy aircraft; thirteen of these men scored more than 200 kills, while two scored more than 300. The Bf 109 was flown by the three top-scoring fighter aces of the war: Erich Hartmann, Gerhard Barkhorn, and G?nther Rall. All of them flew with JG 52, a unit which exclusively flew the Bf 109 and was credited with over 10,000 victories, chiefly on the Eastern Front.

The Bf 109 was also supplied to several of Germany's allies, including Finland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia, and Slovakia.

In this selection of unrivalled images collected over many years, the operations of this famous aircraft in the latter part of the Second World War are portrayed and brought to life
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。 1,760円

A Catholic Engagement with Latter-day Saints【電子書籍】

楽天Kobo電子書籍ストア

In this unique work, a collection of Catholic scholars address several theological topics about which Latter-day Saints and Catholics hold contrary beliefs: the Great Apostasy, the papacy, the Eucharist, the Trinity, the Incarnation, the nature of God, justification, sainthood, liturgy, and deification. The contributors, some of whom are converts to Catholicism from Mormonism, offer a respectful, though critical, analysis of the beliefs of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Catholics have done very little thinking about or interaction with Latter-day Saint theological beliefs. The Catholic Church has focused virtually all its ecumenical efforts on the ecclesial communities that arose from the Reformation, the Orthodox Churches, and Judaism. Left out of these discussions has been the LDS church, even though by 2016 it had grown to nearly sixteen million members internationally from its modest beginnings in 1830.

This work examines the LDS faith as an important and serious challenge to the Catholic narrative of the origin and development of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Absent the ad hominem attacks and lurid historical details that are often found in popular Christian assessments of the LDS church, this book is intended by its editors to lead to further dialogue and better understanding.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。 2,598円

A Case for Latter-Day Christianity Evidences for the Restoration of the New Testament’s “Mere” Christian Church【電子書籍】[ Robert Starling ]

楽天Kobo電子書籍ストア

Can a Mormon be a Christian? How does that work? That’s the idea behind this personal book by Robert Starling, a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who grew up in the heart of the Bible Belt. Some folks there (and elsewhere) believe that Mormons are members of a non-Christian “cult”. Robert’s purpose for this book is not to convert anyone, but to give his “strong reasons” to dispel that misconception. As a child of converts to Mormonism whose uncle is a retired Methodist pastor, Robert has a unique perspective to share with Mormons and non-Mormons alike. He attended a Baptist vacation Bible school as a child (and so did his own children) and his best friend in college at Georgia Tech was the president of the Catholic student Newman Club. Having resided in Utah for twenty years where he worked as a media producer for the LDS Church at its worldwide headquarters, Robert has lived “really inside Mormonism” for decades. While Robert is not an official spokesman for the LDS Church, he has trained local church leaders in how to work with news media. He’s been active in defending his faith from critics (he’s been sued by them twice for a total of $30 million) and sharing his knowledge with anyone interested in learning what Mormons really believe. For instance: Do Mormons believe in a “different” Jesus? What do Mormons believe about the Trinity? How are Mormons “saved”? Do Mormons baptize dead people? Is there only “one true church”? What happens in Mormon temples? Do Mormons wear “magic underwear”? Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith? Is the Bible God’s word for Mormons? Do Mormons want to become like God? What kind of evidences does Robert use to make his case? Whether you’re a Mormon or not, you’ll be surprised. Take a look inside and find out!
