Stories from Ramayana and Mahabharata【電子書籍】[ Ayir Amrahs ]

楽天Kobo電子書籍ストア

Hindu religious books play a vital role in the upliftment of society and its cultural values. Veda, Ramayana, Gita, Puraan, Mahabharata, etc. are all their holy scriptures, which have guided them in the development of their society since time immemorial. So, we have tried to transform the big epic Ramayana and Mahabharata into a small and easy story format through which one can learn about the Hindu epics in a playful manner. This particular book contains the time and life story of Lord Rama and Mahabharata in an interesting manner.
These are the most brilliant collection of mythical stories that India has contributed to the world. These are huge epics, from their extensive length to the enormous breadth of their vision. These are like encyclopediasーa world all on its own. The Mahabharata speaks of epic love and hatred, gods and demons, and of gigantic battles. But it does so in speech and gestures and magic.
The Mahabharata has a narrative structure. Its narration is breathtaking in its poetic and intellectual quality. Its technique of narration is, as mentioned above, that of a story inside another story. The basis of the narration rests on ‘dialogues’ which bring out various viewpoints on a particular situation or problem. Every character in the Mahabharata has their own point of view and ideology, but its beautiful narration transforms it into a text of the debate.
The core of the Mahabharata is the feud between princely cousins, the Kauravas, and the Pandavas, who were the descendants of Puru. It led to the 18-day-long, bloody war. The stakes of this gigantic war were great. The whole known land of Bharata was at stake. Every kingdom, from the biggest to the smallest, brought its armies to the Kurukshetra battlefield for either the Kaurava or the Pandava side. This war changed the whole political landscape of India. The author of the Mahabharata is said to be Veda Vyasa, and Lord Ganesha is his scribe. Veda Vyasa was witness to all the events.
画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。 451円

The Picture Ramayana【電子書籍】

RARE COLLECTORS ITEM. FIRST PUBLISHED-1916.??In India and the Far East, the story of Rama, Sita and Hanuman is not just an ancient? classic; it is a mystique and a myth that has provided inspiration for the entire cultural framework of southeast Asia for four millennia. At the beginning of this country, Balasaheb Pant, Raja of the State of Aundh in Maharashtra, undertook the preparation of an illustrated summary of this ancient epic. In the rich tradition of Indian rulers who wielded the pen with facility, he was a writer as well as an artist. His creation, visual and verbal, concretised the major events in the Ramayana of the sage Valmiki and was hailed both in the East and the West as a significant artistic achievement. It was first published in 1916.?Bhuvanrao Srinivasarao, also known as Balasaheb Pandit Pant Pratinidhi, was born in Satara in the year 1865. His ancestors came into public eminence when Parasuram Triambak Pant was appointed Pratinidhi by Sivajis second son, Rajaram. Thereafter two branches of his family served the descendants of Sivaji; one at Kolhapur under Rajaram and Tarabai, and the other at Aundh under Shahu Chatrapati. Balasaheb became the ruler of Aundh in 1909 and, until his death in 1951, he was acclaimed for his personal achievements as well as his worth as a statesman. In consultation with Mahatma Gandhi, he undertook in 1939 the historic Aundh experiment which established the first pattern in India of decentralised village democracy through total self-government in the villages of the State of Aundh.画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。 ※ご購入は、楽天kobo商品ページからお願いします。※切り替わらない場合は、こちら をクリックして下さい。 ※このページからは注文できません。 1,657円
