Es ist ein einzigartiger Lebensraum, denn es wird vom Meer und dem Festland wechselseitig beeinflusst und unterliegt daher einer fortw?hrenden Wandlung. Unaufh?rlich laufen hier Prozesse unterschiedlicher Art ab. Der K?stenbereich au?erhalb der Deiche ist dem st?ndigen Spiel der Elemente ausgeliefert. So hat sich nicht zuletzt deswegen, weil es sich um einen amphibischen Raum oder ein 'Sechsstundenland' (FIEDLER 1992:13) handelt, ein extremer Lebensraum herausgebildet. In der vorliegenden Arbeit sollen nun die Entstehung, Charakteristika und Strukturen des Wattenmeeres und der angrenzenden Marschfl?chen untersucht werden. Nach einem allgemeinen Teil besch?ftigt sich die Arbeit mit dem Einfluss des Menschen auf diese Landschaft und zeigt aktuelle Probleme auf. In diesem Rahmen wird auch die Frage zu er?rtern sein, ob es sich, wie immer wieder behauptet, beim Wattenmeer um eine der letzten Urlandschaften Europas handelt. Glaubt man dem Duden so h?ngt die Herkunft des Wortes 'Watt' vermutlich mit dem althochdeutschen 'wat' f?r Furt und 'watan'= waten zusammen. Somit w?re das Watt also ein Gebiet, das man durchwaten kann (REINECK 1994:48). Nach L?DERS & LUCK (1976), zitiert in REINECK (1994:48), ist das Watt '...das ?bergangsgebiet vom festen Land zum Meer an einer Tidenk?ste, das im Verlauf der Tidenbewegung bei Flut ?berstr?mt wird und bei Ebbe trockenf?llt. Die obere Grenze ist die Uferlinie (MThw-Linie), die untere die Wattlinie oder Strandlinie.' Die teilweise hohen Raten der Wiederaufnahmen gerade schizophrener PatientInnen in psychiatrische Kliniken, die zur Bezeichnung 'Dreht?r-Psychiatrie' f?hren, geben Anlass, an der Richtigkeit, G?ltigkeit und Umsetzbarkeit dieser Prinzipien zu zweifeln. Ich bin der Frage nachgegangen, wie sich diese raschen Wiederaufnahmen in die psychiatrische Klinik aus Sicht der rehospitalisierten PatientInnen darstellt. Im Zentrum des Interesses meiner Untersuchung stehen daher die Ermittlung und Analyse der Beurteilungen und Meinungen der betroffenen PatientInnen zu ihrer erneuten Aufnahme. Die bewusst relativ offen und allgemein gehaltene Frage nach der PatientInnenperspektive zur eigenen Rehospitalisierung erlaubte, den Fokus der Untersuchung auf die subjektiven Sichtweisen und Relevanzstrukturen der besagten PatientInnen zu richten. Zu diesem Zweck wurden mit sechs PatientInnen, die sich in einer Wiederaufnahmesituation befanden, problemzentrierte Interviews gef?hrt. Die Entstehungs- und Rahmenbedingungen der Untersuchung sowie der theoretische und fachliche Bezugsrahmen werden erl?utert. Wie werden station?re Aufenthalte in psychiatrischen Kliniken aus fachlicher Perspektive gewertet, was verbirgt sich hinter dem Begriff der 'Dreht?r-Psychiatrie' und was gibt es f?r M?glichkeiten und Konzepte, Rehospitalisierungen zu vermeiden? Das zweite Ereignis geschah wenig sp?ter: Im Juli 2006 kam es auch in ?sterreich, am Eiger, zu Felsst?rzen, die in den Medien allgemein als Folge der abschmelzenden Gletscher beschrieben wurden. Bei diesen beiden Bewegungen handelt es sich um kleinere Ereignisse, die in Relation zu den zahlreichen gro?en Massenabg?ngen der Alpen von untergeordneter Bedeutung sind. Dennoch verdeutlichen sie die Problematik der Massenbewegungen: Durch dichtere Besiedlung und eine immer bedeutender werdende Rolle der Alpen als Wirtschaftsraum, steigt die Anf?lligkeit und damit auch die Gefahr durch Naturereignisse wie Massenbewegungen. Sowohl Erkenntnisse ?ber die Ursachen dieser Ereignisse als auch M?glichkeiten zur Vorhersage und gegebenenfalls Pr?vention oder zumindest Schadensreduzierung werden folglich f?r die betroffenen Alpenl?nder immer wichtiger.
