Schon fr?h erkannte die F?hrung der Nationalsozialisten, allen voran Josef Goebbels, dass ausnahmslose Talent Speers, W?nsche und Vorstellungen detailgetreu umzusetzen. Nachdem er 1934 mit dem Projekt des N?rnberger Reichsparteitaggel?nde betraut wurde, drei Jahre sp?ter zum Generalinspekteur f?r die Neugestaltung der Reichshauptstadt Berlin ernannt wurde, gipfelte seine Arbeiten in der Planung der Welthauptstadt Berlin. Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit ist es, die Gro?bauprojekte Speers unter der ?gide des Hakenkreuzes zu untersuchen. Hitler sah in den Bauwerken seiner Zeit nicht nur stilechte Geb?ude, sondern vor allem machtpolitische Propaganda. In ihnen sollte das Nationalbewusstsein des Volkes wieder erstarken und den nachkommenden Generationen die St?rke und Gr??e Deutschlands veranschaulichen. Nach mehrmaligem Studienortwechsel von Karlsruhe ?ber M?nchen und schlussendlich nach Berlin, verblieb er nach Abschluss seines Architekturdiploms in der Hauptstadt als Assistent des Professors Heinrich von Tessenow an der Technischen Universit?t.
